Micro / Foam is a contemporary café and material showroom designed by Di Bartolo Architects, bringing together Bobbi’s Café and Topcret’s microcement finishes within a cohesive hospitality and retail environment.

The café interior explores the relationship between material, light and geometry, with Topcret microcement forming a warm, tactile backdrop throughout the space. The coffee counter features Topcret’s new Metallics range paired with a custom ceramic benchtop, while curved counters and sculptural wall niches demonstrate the versatility of microcement across complex forms.

Natural timber batten screens provide warmth and subtle spatial division, balancing the mineral character of the microcement and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Designed as both a working café and a Topcret showroom, Micro / Foam demonstrates how considered material selection, custom joinery and architectural detailing can transform a commercial interior into a distinctive hospitality experience.
